Let’s be honest you guys… this pandemic has been hard on everyone. That’s not a hidden fact. But for my family, especially in December it was just so harsh. I’m still traumatized from it all. My oldest “doodlebug” she’s 11, then “Bear,” third little fire ball is “monkey” and the youngest little guy is “ducky.” I started when I was 15 on purpose if I’m being honest, and after this last baby I’m good.

At this point it’s come to light that if I just start my own business and do, say Doordash I could more than likely make it work. Once the business picked up, I’d be able to do that fulltime. Doordash has been pretty great for us in the fact that neither of us have a clock in/out job. Anymore.

With my husbands most current crap job, they messed up our insurance. He knew why we were there, we have four kids and he only took the job for the health insurance in the first place. (After all, we only payed $300 to have 4.) The thing is that he mentioned it to this person every chance he saw him. And he was told that everything was good. Ugh….

So, Monday is almost here. 12 minutes to go and I have a list of things I need to get done. I’m so scared to go back to college. I’m just not smart. It’s not really that I didn’t take school seriously, it’s just that I changed schools a lot, and there were at least 2 teachers that really did not try and teach me. I think that if I can get past that point, of where my knowledge in math ends I’ll feel so much better. Number 1 is in 6th grade, and she brings home math that looks like something you’d see in a movie. Which….is math! Lol! I know…but it’s like another language to me.

So how are we making it work with source of income. Well if I’m being honest, I have no idea. Stress, will power your soul I suppose. My husband got lucky, and he had a last paycheck come in the mail that we didn’t know about. But my parents also helped. Which I really didn’t expect because…we just don’t get along and I hate asking for help from anyone. I want to learn how to do it on my own. So I cleaned up their house, which if I’m being honest….was absolutely 10/10 the nastiest it has been in a long time. I wish my brother and sister would help them out…They’re older than me….

Back to Doordash, so doing the math, if you were to dedicate yourself and figure out exactly when the best times to “dash” are, you will make money in no time. For me, I noticed that when I dashed from 11 Am to 2PM and PM to 10 or 11PM Sometimes I’d cut early, or I’d do more it just depended…but I could make a real difference if I do it.

On that note though, I lost my prepaid card. So I went to report it as stolen. But I figured that I would still be able to dash because I was able to before I activated my card, and of my 243 lifetime deliveries I have never once had to use that card anyway! I went to order it, and in order for you to get it at a decent time you have to pay for it. I didn’t know I couldn’t dash yet. Oh man…I sent email after email….I was so frustrated.

Super excited to be here, if you really just read all of that thank you so much! :)
